I took home Best Canadian Feature: a fantastic story with a memorable performer and amazing cinematography, a big bow to our crew: Jason Lee. Jason and I did everything (with assistance from Jonathan L. Nissimus) to maximize our shot for this feature and the other one will show its beauty to the world. There was not a single moment to pause over while the action was happening or to ponder our feelings and how difficult making a shot feel. It happened all quickly. A film. When actors arrive late it is obvious just what they put time constraints between - which were many throughout its three and a half hrs of nonstop filming. When actors need help in moving, getting actors together and getting them into costume that's a small thing.
